Price comparison questions
Is Erin cheaper than Brampton or Georgetown?
For new construction, yes. Erin Glen’s new freehold townhomes start at $599,900 versus roughly $690,000 in Brampton and $749,000 in Georgetown, and detached homes start at $769,900 versus about $1.05M and $1.1M (indicative 2026 starting prices).
How does Erin compare to Orangeville and Guelph?
Erin’s new-home starting prices are slightly to moderately below Orangeville and Guelph. Detached homes start about $20,000–$30,000 lower and semis about $100,000 lower. Guelph’s cheapest new townhomes are within about $10,000 of Erin’s.
Are property taxes high in Erin?
