About Erin Glen
Erin Glen is the master-planned community on the north-east side of Erin Village, north of Dundas Street East and south of Wellington Road 124, on both sides of 10th Line. Solmar Development Corp. received approval in January 2021 for roughly 1,234 dwelling units plus employment lands; industry reports now put the full build-out at about 1,250 to 1,400 homes. Solmar builds alongside Cachet Homes and Lakeview Homes.
Phases 1 and 2 are sold out, and Solmar is now selling the third and final phase, about 149 homes. It includes 20′ freehold townhomes, 22.5′ semis, and 33′ and 36′ detached homes.
Next door, the Erin Glen Town Centre broke ground on July 13, 2026: about 150,000 sq ft of retail with roughly 500 parking spaces. Confirmed tenants include Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollarama, Subway, Domino’s, Bar Burrito, a dentist and a daycare, and a national grocer is planned. Businesses are expected to open in spring 2027, and a 40-acre business park is part of the plan.

Towns: $10,000 on signing, then $10,000 at 60, 120 and 180 days, then the balance to 10% 30 days before closing. Semis and detached: $10,000 on signing, $10,000 at 30 days, $15,000 at 60, 120 and 180 days, then the balance to 10%.

For an investor, Erin Glen is the only way to buy new in Erin now rather than in a year or two. Entry pricing is the lowest for new freehold homes we track in the region: towns start at $599,900, compared with “high $700s” at the 2021 phase 3 launch. The community is already established, with a town centre coming that should make daily life (and renting) easier.
The trade-off is competition: hundreds of similar homes mean resale and rental demand will be compared street by street, so lot choice matters. Until the Erin wastewater plant is online, homes here use holding tanks with sewage trucked to Orangeville, billed at an interim $1,000 a year.

North-east Erin Village. About 25–28 minutes to Acton or Georgetown GO, 37 minutes to Guelph and 43 minutes to downtown Brampton.
