About The Village of Hillsburgh
The Village of Hillsburgh sits at 63 and 63A Trafalgar Road in the heart of Hillsburgh, next to the Elora Cataract Trailway and Barbour Field and a short walk to the millpond and the village’s main street. The County’s March 5, 2026 draft approval covers 376 single-detached lots (including an existing heritage house), 221 street townhouses and 68 back-to-back townhouses, plus a mixed-use seniors block of up to 188 units and a low-rise seniors block of up to 72 units, about 925 homes at full build-out on 52 hectares.
The plan includes a park, seven trailhead parks, woodlots and a future water-tower block. Ballantry has published floor plans for traditional and village townhomes (about 1,540 to 2,200 sq ft) and 32′, 38′ and 45′ detached homes. The developer has said build-out will take at least a decade.

“From the $580s” would make this the lowest advertised entry price for new freehold homes in Erin, in a village setting with a trail at the back door. A wide range of lot sizes, plus future seniors housing, should support a broad buyer and tenant base over many years.
Like Hillsburgh Heights, registration depends on a new Hillsburgh well and wastewater capacity, and a ten-year build-out means early phases compete with later ones. Getting into the first release usually gets you the best price and lot selection.
