About Hillsburgh Heights
Hillsburgh Heights sits at 5916 Trafalgar Road on the south side of Hillsburgh, the smaller of Erin’s two urban areas. The County’s December 19, 2025 draft approval covers 195 detached lots and 174 townhouses on about 34 hectares, along with a school block, a park, stormwater ponds, a walkway and a heritage house that will be preserved.
Registration conditions include a new Hillsburgh municipal well and pumping station and confirmation of wastewater capacity. Hillsburgh’s new sewers are complete, and the trunk sewer connecting Hillsburgh to the treatment plant is scheduled for December 2026.
Briarwood’s early-access site describes “luxury homes on large deep lots,” with towns from the $1Ms and detached from the $1.3Ms and closing in 2027. Given where approvals stand, we’d treat those figures and dates as preliminary until a price list is released.

The investor view on Hillsburgh Heights
Hillsburgh is a small, walkable village with the Elora Cataract Trailway running through it. A school site inside the plan is a long-term plus for families and tenants. Larger lots and a smaller overall community should help these homes stand apart from Erin Village’s bigger subdivisions.
The main risks are the infrastructure conditions (the new well and the wastewater link) and pricing that looks well above Erin Glen. Register early to compare the first price list against the rest of the market.
